Almost never. The audit looks at what you already run and finds where AI fits cleanly. We have a strong opinion on what works (ClickUp, n8n, Twilio, ElevenLabs, Claude), but if your team lives in HubSpot or Pipedrive or a custom-built thing, we wire AI into it. We only recommend a swap if your current tool is actively blocking the AI install.
Strategy without install is just a deck. The retainer model keeps us accountable to actually shipping systems, not producing roadmaps. If you only want strategy without install, you're looking for a different kind of consultant — and we'll tell you that up front.
Vic flies to your city. Day 1 is a half-day onsite working session with your operators — we map the install. Days 2–4 are heads-down build-out, in your office or a local hotel meeting room if needed. Day 5 is a live walkthrough with your team and a written handoff doc. We fly out, the systems keep running.
Most installs are operable by non-developers — n8n, ClickUp Automations, ElevenLabs dashboards. If a piece of the build genuinely needs developer-grade maintenance, we flag it before we install it and discuss whether it's worth the dependency. The default goal: your team operates everything we leave behind.

Most clients run 3–6 months total — Virtual Install in month 1, Strategy retainer for 2–6 more months while we iterate, then they graduate to maintenance-only or fully self-operate. Some keep us on indefinitely as their fractional AI ops team.
