◆ ONBOARDING PACKET · BOOTCAMP CLIENTS

Welcome to your
AI Foundation Bootcamp.

This is everything your team needs to be ready for our 5 days together. Skim it now. Share it with everyone attending. We'll see you onsite. The better prepared the team, the more we ship together that week.

◆ WHAT TO EXPECT

The 5 days, at a glance.

Two layers a day. One working install a day. Full foundation live by Friday. Every day has a deliverable.

MON

Foundations + use cases

AI literacy. Personal AI on every laptop. Team brainstorms use cases. HAIL appointed.

TUE

Knowledge + work systems

Your business gets a brain. Work surface goes AI-native. HAIL trained on cadence.

WED

Skills + orchestration

Shared skill library. First deterministic and agentic workflows go live.

THU

Sensory I/O + agents

Customer-facing AI in production. First autonomous agent running. Personal-project check-in.

FRI

Observability + evolution

Monitoring dashboard live. HAIL leads first weekly review. Personal-project demos. We fly out.

◆ VOCAB BEFORE WE ARRIVE

Words your team will hear all week.

Skim these. Even casual familiarity makes Day 1 land harder. We'll cover all of them in detail. This is so nothing on the first slide is brand new.

Token
The atomic unit AI models use to read and write. Roughly ~4 characters of English. Models charge by tokens. Long prompts and long outputs both cost more.
Context window
How much information the AI can hold in memory at once. Larger windows mean more context, more cost, and sometimes worse focus. Knowing the window matters when designing AI workflows.
Agentic loop
When AI takes an action, observes the result, and decides what to do next, repeatedly, until a goal is met. Different from a single prompt-response. Powerful when it works, expensive when it spirals.
Deterministic
Rule-based. Predictable. A webhook firing on a calendar event is deterministic. AI is not deterministic by default. The HAIL decides which work belongs in the deterministic lane.
Skill
A reusable, named AI capability the team can invoke. Skills compose. Small skills combine into bigger ones. Layer 5 of the curriculum.
MCP
Model Context Protocol. The standard for connecting AI to your business tools (CRM, calendar, docs). MCP servers are how your AI talks to your stack.
HAIL
Human AI Librarian. The single human accountable for keeping your AI Foundation alive AND directionally correct. Founder or trusted secretary at first. Read the full role at /hail.
Drift
When AI behavior gradually moves away from what the business wants. Caught early by good observability plus a HAIL doing weekly reviews. Caught late, it's expensive.
Foundation
The full 10-layer AI install. "Foundation" deliberately implies layer-zero infrastructure. The thing everything above it (operations, customer-facing AI, autonomous agents) sits on.
◆ HOMEWORK · BEFORE WE ARRIVE

Have your team start a list.

This is the most important pre-work you'll do. It powers the entire week.

◆ THE LIST

Every operator brainstorms their own use cases.

Ask each person attending the Bootcamp to come in with a written list of tasks they personally do that fit any of these descriptions:

Annoying. Tasks you dread.
Repetitive. Tasks you do over and over.
Mundane. Tasks you do on autopilot.
Mistake-prone. Tasks where you've messed up before and could mess up again.

Aim for 10 to 15 items per person. Don't worry about whether AI can handle them yet. That's our job to evaluate. Just capture the work that bothers you most.

Why this matters. On Day 1, your team brainstorms first. We reveal our polished use-case library second. The use cases your team came up with become each person's personal-project homework for the week. By Friday, every operator demos their own AI working on their own task.

◆ EQUIPMENT + ACCOUNTS

What every attendee needs to bring.

Two columns: hardware on the left, accounts and access on the right. Anyone missing something gets stalled on Day 1. Please confirm with each attendee.

Hardware + setup

  • Laptop. Mac, Windows, or Linux. ~5 years old or newer. Charger.
  • Admin access on the laptop. You'll be installing software.
  • Reliable internet. Your office Wi-Fi or your hotel network. We'll have a hotspot fallback.
  • Headphones. For voice-agent testing on Thursday.
  • Phone. Your business line, for voice-agent installation.
  • Notebook + pen. Old-school. Useful for the brainstorm.

Accounts + access

  • Anthropic account. We'll help you set one up if you don't have one. You'll need a credit card on file.
  • Your CRM access. Admin or near-admin. We're going to wire AI into it.
  • Your task center access. Admin. ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Notion, whichever.
  • Your calendar access. Google or Outlook with calendar API enabled.
  • Your phone provider. Twilio or whoever owns your business number.
  • The HAIL is named. Decide who in the room will be the HAIL before Day 1.
◆ THE ROOM

Where we'll work, and how.

Bootcamps run from your office, your hotel meeting room, or a coworking space. Whatever you have. Three things make it work.

Space

One room, all week

Big enough for 4 to 10 people. A whiteboard helps. A long table with power outlets is ideal. Nothing fancy required. We need consistency.

Display

One large screen

TV, projector, or large monitor with HDMI. We connect a laptop and walk the team through builds together. This is the central teaching surface.

Schedule

9 AM to 5 PM, Mon to Fri

Plus a 1-hour lunch. We aim to wrap by 5 PM so your team has decompression time and Vic can prep for the next day. No nights, no weekends.

Meals. Lunch on you for the team. Coffee and snacks help. Vic flies in the night before Day 1 and out the night of Day 5. No need to plan around his meals beyond that.

Travel + lodging. Billed at cost. No markup. Vic stays at a business-class hotel near the venue. Receipts shared at end of week.

Recording. Per your content release agreement, we record install footage by default. Anonymized unless you opt in to full identification. See the content story section for details.

◆ DAY-OF

What happens Monday morning.

Vic arrives at the venue 30 minutes before start. The HAIL is named in the first 15 minutes. The use-case brainstorm starts at the top of the hour.

8:30 AM. Vic arrives, sets up the room and display.

9:00 AM. Team gathers. HAIL named on the spot. Roles around the table established.

9:15 AM. Use-case brainstorm starts. Each person reads their list. Group discussion.

10:30 AM. DeskWolf use-case library reveal. We map your team's brainstormed items against ours.

11:00 AM. Personal-project assignment. Each person picks one use case from their own list to build during the week.

12:00 PM. Lunch.

1:00 PM. Personal AI dev environment installation begins on every laptop. Layer 1 + Layer 2 walkthrough.

5:00 PM. Wrap. Day 1 deliverables locked. Tuesday preview.

One thing we ask. Please make sure no one is dipping in and out of the room for other meetings. The Bootcamp compounds when the team is fully present. Reschedule everything you can.
